Opinion
The Pathfinder can’t decide if it’s a travel card or a cash back card. It has a huge sign-up bonus and boasts a 3.4% (4x points at 0.85 cents each) earning rate on travel, but doesn’t offer status or loyalty bonuses at any airline / travel chains. The annual fee cancels out the annual travel credit with Honors Advantage membership. It rewards people who travel a lot, but doesn’t offer the benefits constant travelers would actually be interested in (status, free nights, discounts, etc). It’s a good card, but probably best as a supplement to an actual travel rewards card.
